Descriptioon of the projects: At Globopolis (www.globopolis.com) I've developed their whole WAP (wap.globopolis.com - click to open a new window with mobile phone emulator) site using already existing database of the events and venues - from writing user interface specifications to programming the code, including MySQL connectivity. The application server used was Zope (www.zope.org), database server - MySQL for Linux. Also I am communicating with local GSM operators about technical issues and possibilities of cooperation (Nokia and Phone.com gateways, position based services, SMS services). There were some discussions about payment and m-commerce solutions for WAP, but pure theoretical by now. I am a member of some forums about WAP, so I am aware of all the news in WAP technology. By the way I've wrote some WML/WMLScript games to play on mobile phone (www.wmlscript.com/library/Games). With one of them I won free registration at the WROX Wireless Developers Conference (www.wrox.com) - unfortunately I was not able to attend it because of delays in local Dutch embassy with visa. At PragueOne (www.p1.cz) I've developed their WAP site using ASP, IIS, Visual Basic Script and Access database (www.czrb.cz/wap - click to open a new window with mobile phone emulator). Also I was developing their web sites using same tools. At Alarm Service I've developed some applications for accounting department using Access, Excel, Word, Visual Basic for Applications and C. I also participating in development of one multimedia CD (I've wrote all JavaScript and HTML code). At Corporate Development Center (www.cdc.ru) I've developed a module for printing the documents from the Psion PDAs (www.psion.com) to the different printers via IR port using OPL language. I've also developed their web site - designed the pages, wrote the HTML code and a Java applet, which allows users to calculate the most probable cost of the system by simple dragging the images of the components by mouse. At Ashten Products I've designed and programmed a mobile trading system which allows sales manager to make an inventory and print all necessary documents at the point of sales using only Psion 3c PDA (www.psion.com/computers/s3mxindex.html), HP DeskJet (www.pandi.hp.com/pandi-db/prodinfo.main?product=deskjet340c) portable printer (with IR port) and a barcode reader. Sales manager is able to synchronize his data with the central database (which was created by me too) in the office. The database used was FileMaker Pro (www.filemaker.com), programming language - OPL for EPOC (www.symbian.com) (source code available). At School 758 (schools.techno.ru/sch758) I've wrote some multimedia applications for education purposes as a teacher of computer literacy using C/C++ and Pascal languages for Macintosh. I've developed their web site - from designing the pages to writing the HTML code. Also I've done some own project, mostly games, using C language for DOS and C/C++ and Pascal languages for Macintosh. One of the games was awarded on the Softool'95 exhibition Programmers Competition (sftgames.on.ru). I've developed a small application using C language for QNX (www.qnx.com) operating system using C language, which helps to create and download the localized (russified) font to the EPSON compatible printer. I've developed a simple database with Clarion Designer (www.topspeed.com) and some applications and gadgets for PalmOS (www.palm.com) using Metrowerks Codewarrior C++ (www.metrowerks.com) for myself for educational reasons. |
